a million breaths were I to take
before my next omniscient thought
tis still less time than what has taught
the world to spin and hearts to wake
and if you do not think them true
these lines that speak to curious eyes
just think how many thoughtful tries
it took to warm the heart of you
a million breaths, a million tries
just for the chance to hold your night
partake desire, and meet the light
and laughter found within your eyes
to reach beyond what has been taught
may make us vulnerable again
but for each doubt, there's truth within
and memory of perfect thought
a million breaths i'd take again
to simply breathe the breath of you
but if you can but dream this true
then sleep and hold my heart within
and when you find the end of night
then hold my ghost where e're you wake
and breathe me with the breath you take
within the time you see the light |

"This is for someone i care alot about. He knows very well who he is, and I suspect a few of the other people in my life know who he is as well. He has helped me
become free, by helping me rediscover the freedom within myself, and by helping me find the strength to claim it. He makes me happy, not neccesarily in the overarching dramatic sense of the word, but in the everyday sense, the kind that takes a while to build up but stays with you. We've been through alot, and grown alot, and life has changed since i wrote this, but the importance of knowing him will never cease, for me."
